It seems to me that the planet is becoming populated by more and more stupid people with every passing generation. Not only do I have to deal with them everyday, but they will also lead to the eventual downfall of the human race as a whole. But the thing that really bothers me the most often is how many of these stupid people are allowed by the state governments to pilot two ton killing machines with no continual testing to make people remember how to drive these vehicles. Yes, I'm talking about bad drivers folks, and chances are that you fall into that category.
Let me explain. My theory is that at least 75% of the drivers on the road today could not pass a drivers test if they were required to take one tomorrow. That means that three out of four people reading this probably wouldn't pass the test. I am not picking on you specifically, it is just a statistical truth (well, guess is more appropriate.) My reason for believing this is that I have seen so many people that don't seem to understand that speed limits exist for a reason, traffic lanes are meant to control traffic flow, and nobody seems to know what that funny lever on the left side of the steering column is for. Also, there is very little relation between a driver's are and the way that they drive. For example, I have seen teenagers that drive exceptionally well, yet old morons who can't stay in the lane will complain that these kids are driving too slowly. Then the old moron will pass them without using their blinker and act all offended that they had to go around a law-abiding citizen. Likewise, I have seen many a stupid kid fly down residential streets at sixty or seventy mph, not caring that children live in the area.
Now how do we stop this? I have some ideas on that. I think that we should be able to shot other cars with paintball guns. That way the dumbshit driving the car will know that they have been a dumbshit, and everyone else can see it too, so they know to avoid this living road hazard. It also serves as to embarrass the moron who can't drive.
I like to follow people and point out their driving errors to them. This provides me with the instant satisfaction of seeing them throw a fit when I point out just what a fucking stupid shithead this person is. They won't admit that they did anything wrong of course, but if they didn't, why would I be following them, holding up signs and yelling out my window at them.
The most politically correct solution is to make everyone retake their driver's test every time they renew their license. Since cleansing the gene pool is, unfortunately, not an acceptable option in today's world, this is the route that we should take. And when should it start? How about tomorrow? Get all the idiots off of the road and leave it safe for all of the sane people that know what that lever on the steering column does. Once people have to start adapting to a harsher, more unforgiving world, then the level of intelligence will go up, improving the gene pool and bettering life for all of mankind. This is how it starts people, with the enforcement of good driving.
